The American Lung Association has put together six reports “Disparities in Lung Health Series.”  The 6 topics are:

  1. Cutting Tobacco’s Rural Roots: Tobacco Use in Rural Communities
  2. Luchando por el Aire: The Burden of Asthma on Hispanics
  3. Missed Opportunities: Influenza and Pneumonia Vaccination in Older Adults
  4. Missed Opportunities: Influenza and Pneumonia Vaccination in Older Adults
  5. Smoking Out a Deadly Threat: Tobacco Use in the LGBT Community
  6. Too Many Cases, Too Many Deaths: Lung Cancer in African Americans

They open the page with: “The American Lung Association is committed to preventing lung disease and improving lung health. Our Disparities in Lung Health series of report attempt to address the needs of those populations that are disproportionately affected by lung disease.”

Choose one that matters or hits home to you and read it… They are interesting!
